Louis P. Goullaud
(c. 1839 – December 7, 1919) published and sold music in
Boston
,
Massachusetts
, in the 19th century.
[1][2]In the 1860s he worked for “Koppitz, Pruefer & Co.”
[3]With Asa W. White and Edward W. White – as the firm “White & Goullaud” – he sold musical instruments and published sheet music (c. 1869 – 1875).
[4][5][6]Under his own imprint he issued sheet music and
Goullaud’s Monthly Journal of Music.
[7][8]He retired c. 1886,
[9]and died in
Braintree
on December 7, 1919.

ound in AMISH COUNTRY . Framed description was with it . the owner was very proud of it.
built between 1869-1875 – -This Company was Only in business for 6 years.

It appears this may have originally  had strings or ropes along the side vertically given the holes on the top and bottom rims. old metal clamps now that can be removed – but they have been there a longggggggg time.
